Working

I have a job, I feel like a failure, but mother said that it is important for me to work outside the home as a teen to prepare for working within the home as an adult.

I know that it's mostly because we need the simoleans, but I don't like it.

I'm a server and I can't serve! I get the orders confused, drop plates on the customers and come home smelling like spices.

Dating

I'm not sure I'm up for this whole dating thing. Tobi and I went skating, which was awesome, I loved racing around the rink-even though I fell several times.

However, after skating-he wanted to slow dance-yuck. I couldn't stand having his hands on me and he kept trying to get closer to me.

It's not that he's not a great guy, but...well...he's a guy. I'm not sure that I'm too much into guys if you know what I mean. I wonder how I could tell him that-gee, I'm not too much into you right now since, well, you're a guy.

I got a new job, no more pumping gas downtown. I now work in the Apple Valley Welcome Center's Gift Shop. I'm a cashier and when I become an adult, I will start leading tours.

Future Homemakers

I turned it over to Carmela today. We had a homemaker's outing to celebrate. The group went to the Farmer's Market for organic produce and then to the park for fishing and picnics.

I annouced that Carmela would be the new leader of the group and everysim agreed that it was a good desicion. Especially with her new pregnancy and the changes that she plans to make at her own home. Such a wonderful young sim. She will do well.

I am content and ready for elderhood to come.

Church

Cassandra and I attended the midweek church services. It was ok, the pastor is a good speaker, however I was so tired from work that I wanted to fall asleep. Thank goodness there was plenty of coffee.

Grandchildren

I gave Elda some items for our grandchildren, Astute and Thomasina. They celebrated thier child birthday and I sent over some toys that Matthew and I picked out. A nice doll for Thomasina and a stuffed tiger for Astute.

I wanna be just like her! Not an actress-but popular...maybe. I looked into that tour guide stuff and it seems really cool. I told Tobi that we could go out this next simday-I didn't know that he liked me. Ginger is upset-she thinks Tobi is cute, but she's dating that Grex farmy boy! Why is she so mad?

Dating

I went on date with Grex-Marilyn followed me everywhere-I wanted to kiss him, but had to play it cool since my sister was there-I hope he doesn't think I don't like him.
